Literature Text

When I was little.
You used to buy me toys to fiddle.
You used to love me so much.
I used to smile when we touched.
I remember when you used to carry me around.
I remeber when you used to play airplane with me, then put me down.
I remember the little "dates" we had.
When I could't see you it drove me mad.
I remeber the way we used to sit down together.
Typing on the type writer made my mood much better.
I remember how every saturday we used to sit at the table in the morning light.
Have breakfast while watching The Price is Right.
Every day was fun with you.
I was never blue.
Until that one night.
What a horrible fright.
I felt all alone.
Sitting in our car.
Remembering when you used to drive with me on your lap.
Or how when you drove you never used to follow the map.
I miss when you smiled at me.
It filled me with such glee.
All of it is gone now.
Now all I do now is frown.
Ever since you left me.
I've lost my childhood sight, I can't see.
I still feel like i'm all alone.
The whole world is against me.
I'm no longer filled with glee.
But remember this, this one simple key.
I will never forget the times we spent together.
I will always love you forever.
For my dad. I will always love you.
